Types of Ocean Currents

The ocean currents are mainly divided into two parts:

1. Warm Currents :

The currents that move from warmer regions to colder regions are called warm currents. Usually these currents moves from equator to the polar parts and the temperature of these currents is higher than the temperature of the water in their way so where these warm currents goes they raises the temperature of that area's water.

2. Cold Currents :

The currents that move from colder regions to warmer regions are called warm currents. Usually these currents moves from poles to the equator and the temperature of these currents is lower than the temperature of the water in their way so where these currents goes they reduces the temperature of that area's water.
